Ayurveda University Students to Get Clinical Training

Jodhpur: In a significant development, Vyas Medical College and Hospital and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurveda University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Sunday, paving the way for joint efforts in Ayurveda and medical sciences.

The MoU was signed by Vyas Medical College Chairman Manish Vyas, University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Vaidya Pradeep Kumar Prajapati, and Registrar Prof. Govind Sahay Shukla. According to Manish Vyas, the objective of the MoU is to develop new medical techniques and promote innovation and research in various fields.


During the COVID-19 pandemic, both Allopathy and Ayurveda were accepted as complementary systems, and this MoU aims to harness their potential for future collaborations.

The signing ceremony was attended by Vyas Medical City Managing Director Asha Vyas, College Dean Dr K.C. Agarwal, Hospital Director Dr Ashok Singh Rathore, University Hospital Superintendent Dr. Brahma Nand Sharma, and Deputy Registrar Dr. Manoj Adlakha, among others.

This partnership is expected to open up new avenues for students of Ayurveda University, providing them with clinical training and exposure to modern medical practices. The collaboration will also facilitate research and innovation in the field of Ayurveda, leading to better healthcare outcomes.
