Indian Air Force pilot Abhinandan Varthaman who has won the hearts of millions of Indian with his valour that he had shown in Pakistan. Now, his stories of courage and bravery will be read by the students in Rajasthan schools.
According to the Rajasthan Education Minister Govind Singh Dostara, ‘Our forces keep us safe while sacrificing their own lives, to inspire the upcoming generation from the bravery of our forces, a direction has been given to include Wing Commander #Abhinandan in textbooks,' ANI reported.

He also took to Twitter and wrote that Abhinandan was educated in Jodhpur and he is a perfect example of ‘son of soil’ achievement (tweet in Hindi).

Therefore, to commemorate the bravery of Wing Commander Abhinandan, Rajasthan government decided to include the stories and chapter on the valour of IAF pilot so as to motivate other students to be like him.
However, the board is yet to decide that in which subject his journey should be added in the school books and for which class students.
As per the reports, it would probably in the textbooks of classes 9th to 12th in the moral science textbooks.
Earlier, Rajasthan education board also had decided to include the stories of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Pulwama martyrs about their sacrifice for the country and its security.
However, Wing Commander Abhinandan emerged as a real hero of India after he shot down the Pakistani F-16 in a dogfight with his MiG 21. Later on, his jet was crashed on the PoK land and he was captured by Pak army and was remain in their custody for around 60 hours.
