Ganganagar: CET to be Held at 30 Centres in the District

Ganganagar: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Jaipur, will conduct the Common Eligibility Test (CET) on September 27 and 28 in 25 districts of the state. In Ganganagar district, 30 examination centres have been set up, where 47,424 candidates will take the exam in four shifts.

The exam will be held in four shifts, with the first shift from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. Candidates from Bikaner, Churu, Anupgarh, Nagaur, and Hanumangarh will also participate in the exam.


To ensure smooth conduct of the exam, 30 sub-coordinators, five flying squads, and 55 supervisors have been appointed. The exam will be held for various posts, including Platoon Commander, Hostel Superintendent, Patwari, Women Empowerment Supervisor, Tehsil Revenue Accountant, Junior Accountant, and Deputy Jailor.

More than 2,000 personnel, including administrative, police, education, Ayurveda, animal husbandry, and agriculture department employees, will be deployed for exam duty.

A district control room has been set up at the Collectorate office, room no. 17, to monitor the exam. Candidates can contact the control room at 0154-2445067 for any guidance related to the exam.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates are allowed to bring only a blue transparent ballpoint pen, original identity card, a recent coloured photo, and an e-admit card to the exam centre. Those who reach the centre after 8 am for the first shift and 2 pm for the second shift will not be allowed to enter.

Candidates will be allowed to take a copy of the OMR sheet and the used question paper with them after the exam. They will also have to sign the attendance sheet in their handwriting.

The exam will consist of 150 questions, with a total of 300 marks, and there will be no negative marking. If a candidate does not attempt a question, they will have to fill the fifth circle (E) with a black pen. Candidates who do not fill any circle for more than 10% of the questions will be declared ineligible.
