Delhi University is all set to start its admission process for the upcoming session amid the COVID-19 pandemic. DU has announced to begin the admission from October 12, 2020. Therefore, the first cut-off list for various colleges of DU is expected to release today.
Hence, candidates are advised to keep their eyes on the official website of DU, du.ac.in.
Interested students can log-in to their dashboards to check the updates related to the cut-off list. Once, the varsity releases the cut-off lists, the document verification, and admission process will begin.
The admission would be held from October 12 to October 14, 2020.

To lock the admission seats in the first cut-off, candidates are required the following documents:
- Class 10th certificate
- Class 12th marksheet
- OBC (non-creamy layer) certificate, if applicable
- EWS certificate, if applicable
- ECA/Sports categories must upload self- attested copies of the requisite certificates
In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the entire admission process and the first round of document verification process will be held online. To get the mark sheets of students, the university has collaborated with state and central level education boards.

- UG Merit Based Admission on the first cut off list- October 12 to October 14, 2020
- UG Merit Based last date of payment of fees – October 16, 2020
- UG Entrance Based Admission on first Cut Off List – October 19, 2020, to October 21, 2020
- Last date of payment of fees – October 23, 2020
- PG courses admission on first merit list – October 26 to October 28, 2020
- Last date of payment of fees - October 30, 2020
In case, candidates who are failed to get the chance in the first cut-off list can wait for the second cut-off list. Also, students can have an option to change their course or college, if they get a seat in the next cut-off rounds. A total of five cut-off lists will be released.
As per various media reports, the varsity was planning to release the first cut off list for different undergraduate courses on October 10, 2020, 2 days before the commencement of the admission process. However, the officials have refuted the reports and said that they have not decided the date for the release of the first cut-off list yet. However, there is no confirmation that the cut-off list would be released on October 10 as they have asked the colleges to submit the list.
