The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited application forms for Junior Research Fellows (JRF). Interested candidates can submit their application form on the official website of DRDO.
As per the notification, DRDO will hire the JRF on a temporary basis. The selection of the candidates will be done for Defence Research and Development Organisation’s Centre for Fire Explosive and Environment Safety, Delhi location.
However, only three candidates will be shortlisted for the Junior Research Fellow in Organic, Inorganic Chemistry, and Civil Engineering disciplines of DRDO.

DRDO has invited application forms to fill a total of three JRF vacancies. Candidates who hold the degree of Post Graduate in each organic, Inorganic Chemistry and Civil Engineering subjects will be preferred first for the post.
Check out the criteria:
1. DRDO JRF in Organic Chemistry: Applicant should hold the degree of postgraduate in Chemistry with NET or GATE qualification with at least 60% marks.
2. DRDO JRF in Inorganic Chemistry: Applicant should have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in their post graduation course. Also, candidates should clear the NET or GATE in Chemistry along with experience in the development of materials or composites.
3. DRDO JRF in Civil Engineering: To be eligible to apply, an applicant should have secured a first class graduate degree in Civil Engineering with NET or GATE qualification.
DRDO JRF Age Limit:
The maximum age limit to apply for the post is 28 years. For SC/ST and OBC applicants, the age limit is 33 years and 31 years respectively.
DRDO JRF 2019: Application Process
Candidates will have to submit their application form via offline mode. Candidates can download the application form from the link davp.nic.in and take a printout of the form section.
Fill up the application form and also paste your photograph and signature. Candidates are also advised to attach their documents.
DRDO JRF 2019: Selection Process
Candidates will have to appear for the Walk-in-Interview. Document verification of applicants will be done. As per the rank on the merit list, candidates will be awarded JRF.
