It’s an alert for the aspirants who want to apply for the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019. The last to submit the application form for CBSE CTET July exam has come and today is the last date to apply for the entrance exam.
Earlier, CBSE has extended the last date for the submission of the online application form for the CTET exam 2019.
As per the official website released for CTET exam, ‘The application from all such candidates who have passed their graduation with B. Ed. prior to NCTE Principal notification dated 23/08/2010 regarding the determination of minimum qualification of teachers to be appointed in school shall also be entertained by CBSE subject to final decision of Hon’ble Court(s).’
Also, the Board has notified about the last date for the online registration for CTET 2019 exam has been extended to 14th March 2019. While the last date to submit e-challan is 15th March 2019. Earlier, the last date for the exam was 12th March.

Candidate should have scored minimum 50 per cent marks and also completed his/her Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from NCTE recognised institution shall be considered for the teacher of classes 1 to 5.
To apply for primary level teacher job or for classes 1-5 teacher, an applicant should be graduate with at least 45 to 50 per cent marks or also candidates who are pursuing the course of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) are also eligible to apply for the exam.
While for the elementary level, classes 6 to 8 teachers, a candidate should possess a graduation degree or also appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Candidates who have completed their graduation with at least 45 to 50 per cent or who are appearing in one-year Bachelor in Education (Bed) or four- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or BA/BScEd or BAEd/ BScEd are also eligible to apply.

For Paper I or Paper II:
- General and OBC: Rs 700
- SC/ST/Differently Abled Person: Rs 350
For Paper I & Paper II:
- General and OBC: Rs 1200
- SC/ST/Differently Abled Person: Rs 600
However, GST as applicable will be charged extra by the Bank.
This year, CBSE will conduct CTET exam on July 7, 2019 (Sunday).
