Two twin sisters from Noida have grabbed the headlines, not for their identical faces but their CBSE Class 12th board exam marks. The two twin sisters named Mansi and Manya have scored the same marks in the CBSE Board exams.
Yes, you read right! Mansi and Manya have scored 95.8 percent each and surprisingly scored the same marks in each subject.
Even the twin sisters have also decided the same career option i.e. Engineering. The girls are also waiting for the JEE Mains exam which has been postponed to September due to the coronavirus.
The Noida-based identical twins have similar habits. They were sure about their performance in board exams but had no idea that they would obtain ditto marks.
According to news agency PTI reports, one of the twin sisters, Mansi told, “Everybody remembers us for identical looks and its only our names that differentiate us. We were confident about scoring well but were not hoping to score identical marks.”
While Manya said, “I had read two years back about identical twins scoring identical marks. But then I thought it was too much of a coincidence. Still can’t believe we scored exactly the same as well.”
Interestingly, this is for the first time when these twin sisters have scored the same marks.
According to Indian Express reports, the sister, who studied at Aster Public School in Greater Noida, scored 98 in English and computer science and 95 each in physics, chemistry, and physical education.
Born just nine minutes apart, the twins also share a love for food and badminton.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had announced Class 12th examination results on July 13. The result was prepared on the basis of an alternative assessment system adopted by the board due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The overall passing percentage of class 12th is 88.78%.
