CBSE Class 10th Result 2020: Girls outperform boys in high school; easy way to check score

The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the CBSE Class 10th Result 2020 today on its official website. Students who had appeared for the CBSE high school exam can check their results at cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in.

Here’s how to check CBSE Class 10th Result 2020:


Step 1: Click on the official website of CBSE at cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the Class 10th result link
Step 3: Submit your credentials
Step 4: Click on Ok
Step 5: Your result will display on the website
Step 6: Download your CBSE Class 10th board exam result

In case, students unable to open the official website due to heavy traffic, then they check their scores on the following alternative websites given below:

  • Names of Unofficial webistes- examresults.net, indiaresults.com, schools9.com, results.shiksha
  • IVRS: Delhi students can check their results by dialling 24300699. While students outside Delhi are required to put the code 011 before dialling the number.

Students can also send SMS in the following way:

Type ‘CBSE10 (roll number) (admit card ID)’ and send it to 7738299899.


The overall pass percentage of Class 10th stands at 91.46% which is slightly better than last year’s pass percentage of 91.10%.

According to reports, girls have outperformed boys by 3.17% in the CBSE Class 10th result 2020. The passing percentage of girls is 93.31% while boys secured 90.14% in the high school exam.

Transgender students secured a pass percentage of 78.95% which was sharp from the CBSE 10th result 2019 pass percentage of 94.74%.

This year, over 18.85 lakh students registered for the CBSE Class 10th exam, and out of the total, 1873015 appeared for the exams, and 1713121 students passed.
