The Central Board of Secondary Education will release the CBSE Class 10th Result 2020 today on its official website. Students who had appeared for the CBSE high school exam can check their results at cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in.
As per the reports, CBSE is expected to release the results of class 10th around 1 pm. Besides the official website, the results of class 10th will also be available at Digi locker and Umang app.
This year’s result of CBSE is quite special as marks have been awarded without conducting the examination due to the coronavirus outbreak during the CBSE board exams 2020.
However, CBSE has allotted the marks to class 10th students on the basis of the average of the highest three marks obtained in subjects for which marks were held. Students who have appeared in three exams only, the best of the two papers will be considered. While those appeared in one or two exams, the internal assessment will also be considered, according to the board.
To pass CBSE exams, students need to obtain at least 33 percent marks in every subject as well as overall.
Earlier, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted about Class X result declaration date.
He wrote, “My dear Children, Parents, and Teachers, the results of class X CBSE board examinations will be announced tomorrow. I wish all the students best of luck.”
