CBSE Class 10th boy who idolized Stephen Hawking, died during Board exams scores nearly 100 in 3 subjects

CBSE has declared the results of Class 10th on 6th May 2019 on its official website for all zones. This year, 13 students have scored 499 marks out of 500 marks and ranked on the first position.

It might be possible that a CBSE Class 10th boy named Vinayak Sreedhar could be among the toppers of CBSE high school board exams, unfortunately, his desire remains unfulfilled.


The reason behind his failure was his deadly disease, muscular dystrophy that was with him since he was just 2.

As per the reports, Vinayak Sreedhar scored nearly 100 marks in three subjects that he appeared during the CBSE Class 10th board exams.

However, he couldn’t able to give all the exams as he passed away in March.
Sreedhar scored 100 marks in English, 96 in Science and 977 in Sanskrit but, he couldn’t appear for the remaining two exams, Computer Science and Social Studies.

Reportedly, Vinayak’s idol was Stephen Hawking and he wanted to become the topper of class 10th board exams, becoming an astronaut and also wanted to go on a trip to Rameswaram. However, all of his wishes were remain unfulfilled because of his deadly disease.

 

After diagnosing with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), Sreedhar’s body movement was restricted which leads him to gets weak day-by-day.

This life-taking disease caused due to the absence of dystrophin, a protein that helps keep muscle cells intact.

Legendary Stephen Hawking was also suffered from motor neuron disease and he also shocked the world with his knowledge and researches that he did on his wheelchair.

Likewise, Hawking, Sreedhar body’s movement was very limited. Even after lots of difficulties, he could able to appear for the three Board exams.

“His muscular movement was very limited. He could write slowly but since there is a time duration for exams he used a scribe to write English and Science exam. For Sanskrit, he insisted to write himself,” Mamta Sreedhar, his mother, told PTI about her son.

Vinayak used to say that "if Stephen Hawkings could go to Oxford and make a name in Cosmology I can go to space too," told Vinayak's mother.

"He was confident that he will be among top rankers. We were always amazed with his confidence and would encourage him further," she added.

Meanwhile, CBSE Class 10th and Class 12th Board exams results are available on the official website.

CBSE Class 12th results was declared on 2nd May while Class 10th result released on 6th May.
