CBSE Board Exams 2018: This big decision by the Board will give class 12th, 10th athlete students a big relief

The Central Board of Secondary Education has taken the big decision for the six students of Class 10th, 12th who had represented the country in international sports championship during their examination. Yes, you read right, CBSE will go to take the separate examination for high school and intermediate students who were the representative of the nation.

According to the CBSE official, ‘This decision has been taken to promote the talents in sports among the students. He also added that there were six students who were to represent India at various sports events while other class 10 and 12 students were busy writing CBSC Board exams.’

The CBSE official also added that ‘we confirmed the same from Sports Authority of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to conduct the examinations for the two classes i.e. Class 10th, 12th for appearing in Board exams on later dates.’

The six students who will get the benefits are:

Anish Bhanwala of St Theresa's Convent Karnal, K Venkatadri of St John's High School, Vijayawada, Sehajpreet of Ryan International School, Patiala, Rekha of Rajkiya Sarvodya Kanya Vidyalaya, Dallupura, Delhi, Manav Thakkar from Ajmer's Mayur School and Amolika Singh.

At the same time, the ‘God of Cricket’Sachin Tendulkar had appreciated this move taken by the CBSE for such students.

The board had recently formulated new sports guidelines for schools mandating them to have a daily sports period for class 9 to 12.
