CBSE Board 12th Exam Cancellation: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is yet to announce its final decision on the conduction of the CBSE Class 12th Board examination. Recently, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Monday (May 17) conducted a meeting with School Education Secretaries of all states and Union Territories and discuss the various measures adopted for the management of the education system during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the meeting, Education Minister Pokhriyal asked for suggestions from states on the issue regarding the CBSE Class 12th exams. Earlier, the board exams were scheduled to be held from May 4 but were postponed due to the surge in coronavirus cases across the country.

As per the Education Ministry, “To conduct the Board Exams for Class XII, the situation will be reviewed on June 1 by the Board.”
Therefore, expectations have been made that the government will announce its final decision after June 1 regarding the CBSE Board Class 12th exams.
During the meeting, Pokhriyal said that despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the Centre and the states, including agencies like National Testing Agency (NTA) have been managing to deliver the education online.
"We have been successful in transforming our homes into classrooms in these unprecedented times. We have also set an example of ensuring that no student faced a year loss," Education Minister said.
Due to the second wave of coronavirus, students and parents have been demanding to cancel the board exams. In the wake of COVID-19, the board had already cancelled the CBSE class 10th exams and postponed the class 12th board exams.
Meanwhile, CBSE Class 12th aspirants should wait for the official announcement and have also been advised not to trust the fake notice circulated on social media.
