Bihar Board Class 12th Result 2018: Passing percentage improves from last year; girls become the toppers of all the three streams

The much-awaited board results i.e. Bihar Board results have finally announced by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) yesterday i.e. 6th June 2018. Board has announced the results on its official website for over 11 lakh students who had appeared for the examination this year.

Talking about the passing percentage then, this year, the passing percentage records at 52 per cent while the rest of the students unable to qualify their Class 12th Board examination and will have to re-appear for the examinations.

This year, a total of 12,07,975 candidates had registered themselves for the BSEB Class 12th examinations. But, only 11,92,053 students had appeared for their Bihar Board intermediate examination and out of the total 5,70,000 students failed in their Board examinations.

Being receiving such low passing percentage in the Class 12th board examination, the overall passing percentage goes up in comparison to the last year results. According to the reports, the passing percentage stood at 52.95 percentage and the rest of the students had failed in their Class 12th examination. While last year, the Class XII exam overall percentage was recorded at around 35% only.

Well, once again girls become the toppers in the board examination. Interestingly, the first position holder, Sheohar’s Kalpana Kumari is also the NEET (medical entrance exam conducted by CBSE) exam topper. She scored 434 marks in BSEB Class 12th Science stream examination. While the rest two position holders are also a girl.

Muzaffarpur’s Nidhi Sinha has topped the commerce stream with 434 marks and become the topper in her stream. The topper of BSEB Class 12th Arts stream is Kusum Kumari from Jamui. She scored 424 marks in her Class 12th Bihar Board examination.
