An important update for students who want to seek admissions in the University of Allahabad as the admission process has begun. The varsity has opened its registration window for the various courses for the upcoming academic year 2020-21.
The application forms were updated on the official website on May 10, 2020. Interested candidates can visit the official website of Allahabad University at allduniv.ac.in.
Earlier, the registration process was supposed to start from March 25, but due to the nationwide lockdown across the country, the process has also been extended by the varsity.

The University of Allahabad has released application forms for a total of four courses which are given below:
- Institute of Professional Studies (UG and PG courses)
- PGAT (PGAT I/PGAT II including LLM, BEd, MEd, MBA, etc.)
- LL.B (Hons)/ B.A LL.B (Hons)
- UGAT
Entrance Exam Dates:
The varsity has not announced the confirmed date of the entrance examination. As per the expectations the final dates for the exam likely to be announced after lockdown lifted on May 17.
Also, candidates who are going to apply for UGAT and PGAT, then they should keep in mind that entrance exam for both courses can be done via offline or online modes, as per the preference of candidates.
Meanwhile, all educational institutions in India have been closed due to the lockdown. Also, the examinations and new admission process have been put on hold due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Recently, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' announced the examination dates for pending exams of CBSE Board class 10th and class 12th will be held from July 1 to July 15.
