Waiting for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2019? A short notification has released by Indian Air Force for the upcoming courses that will be commenced from January 2020. The vacancies are released for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC)/ Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-technical) branch.
The vacancies are released for men and female aspirants for AFCAT 2020 through the official website at www.careerindianairforce.cdac.in OR www.afcat.cdac.in.
The application process for AFCAT 2020 will begin from December 1, 2019. While the last date to apply for the exam is December 30, 2019. Therefore, the link for AFCAT 2020 application form will be activated from 1st December 2019.

Candidates who will qualify the AFCAT exam will be posted as Commissioned Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches.

AFCAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria (as per AFCAT 2019)
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- For Technical Branch:
Candidates should have qualified a 4-year degree program in Engineering or equivalent.
- For Flying Branch:
Aspirants who hold graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and should have passed Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level, Alternatively should have BE / B Tech degree (with minimum 60% marks.
AFCAT 2020 Age Limit:
Before apply for the vacancy candidates should check whether they fall in the following age bracket or not.
- Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years
- Ground Duty (Technical/Non-technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years
Selection Process for AFCAT 2020 (as per AFCAT 2019)
The selection will be done on the basis of AFCAT written examination, Officers Intelligence Rating Test & Picture Perception and Discussion test, Psychological test and Group tests / Interview.
