A man was arrested in Kapashera for allegedly involved in more than 113 criminal cases on Thursday (21st February).
As per the news agency PTI, the man was allegedly involved in over 113 cases of murder, dacoity and robbery after a brief exchange of fire with police.
The man has been identified as Raju alias Hakla, whose name was involved in more than 113 cases of murder, dacoity, snatching, attempt to murder, robbery and others. Several police stations officials were searching for him, a senior official said on Thursday.
To arrest the criminal, Crime Branch fielded at the place where his arrival was expected in the early hours on Wednesday. The accused's car was intercepted and he was instructed to surrender, police said.

Accused tried to flee from the spot and fired upon the police. The culprit Raju fired at police head constable but missed. In retaliation, police also fired a round in the air and managed to overpower the accused from Pushpanjai Farm House in Kapashera, officials said.
