Aam Aadmi Party’s Arvind Kejriwal is expected to take oath as Chief Minister Delhi on Sunday (February 16), as per party sources. The swearing-in ceremony is likely to be held at Delhi's Ramlila Ground.

With the stupendous victory, Kejriwal becomes the second person after Congress' (late) Sheila Dikshit to become the Chief Minister of the national capital for the third time.

AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) national convener Kejriwal has retained power and all set to form his government for the third time after the landslide victory in Delhi Assembly polls. On 11 February, Arvind Kejriwal led AAP won 62 seats out of 70 Assembly seats in the national capital.

AAP swept the Delhi Assembly polls with 62 seats, five less than in 2015 elections, as per the final results announced by the Election Commission on Tuesday night. The opposition BJP got eight seats and Congress remained at zero.

The victory of the AAP ensured a hat-trick for Kejriwal in the office of Delhi Chief Minister.

All the Ministers in Kejriwal govt have retained their seats with a decent margin. Though Deputy CM Manish Sisodia saw a see-saw battle before he was declared winner from the Patparganj seat.

Worth mentioning here, AAP had won 67 of the 70 Assembly seats in 2015 Assembly Elections. barring Rohini, Vishwas Nagar and Mustafabad which had gone to the BJP's bag.

The Congress continues to be on zero, and also saw its vote share go down from that in 2015.

The vote share of AAP also declined from 54.34 per cent in 2015 to 53.6 per cent, while the BJP's vote share has increased from 32.19 per cent in 2015 to 38.5 per cent.
