Ahead of India’s first World Cup match against South Africa on June 5, Yuvraj Singh has a special message for his former coach and ex Protea Gary Kirsten. Yuvraj Singh and Gary Kirsten was part of India’s 2011 World Cup winning team.
Yuvraj Singh took to his official Twitter account to thank Garry for his contribution in India’s victory. Yuvraj wrote, “April 2, 2011 - A night I can never forget, and a night that one South African played a key part in making it possible!#ThankYouGary and see you on June 5, #SA! @Gary_Kirsten.”

Yuvraj Singh also shared a 45 seconds long video where he acknowledged Garry’s contribution but also warned him that he shouldn’t accept any favour from Virat Kohli and team.
Yuvraj Singh was the crucial part of the team that won 2011 World Cup as he played many match winning knocks and also won the man of the tournament. Yuvraj also played a crucial knock in the finals with MS Dhoni after Gautam Gambhir got out.
