Age doesn’t matter for 87-year-old Charulata Patel who grabbed the eyeballs during India and Bangladesh match on July 2nd. Her presence and support for team India left everyone stunned.
Charulata was continuously cheering for team India during boundaries and the wickets which sought the attention of commentators and men-in blue too. Indian skipper Virat Kohli went to meet the elderly superfan to seek her blessings.
Also, Kohli took to Twitter and thanked his elderly fan for her support to team.

As of now, team India has qualified for the World Cup semi-finals after defeating Bangladesh by 28 runs on Tuesday.

Business tycoon Anand Mahindra considered the 87-year-old fan as 'lady luck' for the team. Hence, he has offered to sponsor World Cup tickets for an elderly Indian fan.

During an interview to ANI, Patel also said that she has been watching Cricket since 1983 World Cup.

She also added that when India lifted the World Cup trophy under the captaincy of Kapil Dev in 1983, she was there.
"India will win the world cup I am sure. I pray to Lord Ganesha that India wins. I bless the team always. When Kapil paaji won the World Cup in 1983, I was there as well," she was quoted as saying by ANI.
