West Indies all-rounder Rahkeem Cornwall is the heaviest ever player to play the game of cricket. Cornwall was selected in the West Indies squad for the Test series against India. Cornwall said that getting selected for Tests against India means a lot to him.
“Basically, I have worked on getting in the right positions when I play shots. It is good to see the support I have received on being included in the Windies squad. Getting selected into the team means a lot to me, I hope to make the most of this opportunity and make it count," Cornwall told reporters ahead of the first Test match,” Cornwall was quoted as saying by ANI.
Cornwall was part of the West Indies A squad that played an unofficial T20I, ODI and Test series against India A.
The two-match Test series started today and is part of the inaugural ICC Test Championship. As of publishing this story, India has lost 3 wickets for 65 runs. India outclassed West Indies in the three-match T20I and ODI series earlier this month. India won the T20I and ODI series by 3-0 and 2-0 respectively.
