Shami and Hasin Jahan's bitter spat came into limelight on March 7 last year when she exposed his alleged extra-marital affair. Shami then went on to accuse that this was all a conspiracy to ruin his career.
Hasin Jahan had even levelled match fixing accusations against Shami following which he was omitted from the central contracts list by the BCCI pending investigations.
BCCI therefore completed their internal investigation on match fixing accusations and gave him a clean chit and reinstated his central contract. According to the latest central contracts list, Shami has been given a Grade A contract (Rs 5 lakh).
