Women IPL, TBL v SNO: Smriti Mandhana's team lost to Harmanpreet's army; see complete scoreboard here

The supernovas won the toss and invited Trailblazers to bat first. Mandhana's team could not start their game on a high note and the two openers could not score any more than 7 and 14 runs respectively. Suzie Bates was the only batsman who crossed the score of 30 runs. She hit 32 runs off 37 balls. The Trailblazers put a target of 130 runs in a low scoring affair.

Smriti Mandhana, captain of IPL Trailblazers, said, “This is the first ever match we will be playing with foreign players on Indian soil. Everyone is excited to be part of this historical moment. We all are looking forward to expressing ourselves in front of an audience.”

Mithali Raj and Danielle Wyatt came down to bat first but struggled before the balanced bowling attack of the Supernovas. Both of the openers could not score any beyond 22 and 24 runs respectively. Meg Lanning and Harmanpreet Kaur could not do much as well and went down for paltry scores of 16 and 21 runs respectively.

Suzi Bates became the highest wicketkeeper for Trailblazers.
