Suresh Raina enjoys a huge fan base as a great batsman and world-class fielder, but not many are aware of the fact that popular cricketer once lent his voice to a Bollywood song.
Raina made his Bollywood debut with actor-writer Zeishan Quadri's first directorial venture Meeruthiya Gangsters. He sand a song for the movie and apparently enjoyed doing so.
It is known that the player agreed to sing the song because his friend had insisted.
Zeishan, who co-wrote the script of Gangs of Wasseypur besides starring in Aurag Kashyap movie, encouraged Raina to lend his voice for the film. The actor-writer-turned director wanted to provide a public domain to the cricketer's voice.
"I was looking forward to an opportunity where I could involve him. I'm happy that he has agreed to do this," Zeishan had said at that time.
