West Indies Vs Bangladesh 2018: Bangladesh’s Abu Hider slapped with penalty by ICC for using foul words

ICC has fined the 22-year-old Bangladesh fast bowler Abu Hider Rony  with  20 per cent of his match fees for using foul language.

Bangladesh's left-arm seamer used inappropriate language during second T20I against the Windies at Lauderhill in Florida.


The incident took place in fourteenth over of the West Indie’s innings when Rovman Powell hit him for a maximum. However, Bangladesh won the second T20 by 19 runs by DLS method.

Abu Hider Rony breached the Article 2.1.4 of the world cricketing board.according to which "using language or a gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting during an International Match" is to be penalized.
