Steve Smith attended a net session against Australia's Test quicks at Sydney Cricket Ground today. Steve is helping Australian pacers ahead of much anticipated Test against India starting December 6.
Steve Smith is currently serving one year ban after the ball-tampering scandal hit Cricket Australia in South Africa earlier this year. Smith along with David Warner and Cameron Bancroft were found guilty of ball-tampering.
Australia will play a four-match Test series against the current favorites India starting from December 6. The first Test will be played at Adelaide and Tim Paine will be leading the Australian side while Virat Kohli will be the captain of Indian squad.
On November 28 India will play a practice match against Cricket Australia XI in Sydney where Smith was seen preparing with bowlers.
India will also play a three-match ODI series starting from January 12 next year. The first ODI will be played in Sydney. The second ODI will be played on January 15 and the third and last ODI will be played on January 18 in Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
The three-match T20I series played between India and Australia were levelled at 1-1. Australia won the first T20I by 4 runs (DLS method), the second T20I match was abondoned due to rain while India won the third match by 6 wickets.
