India has played two matches so far against South Africa and Australia which they won. Their match against New Zealand was called off due to rain and both the teams were awarded one point each. India will face their arch-rival Pakistan on June 16 at Old Trafford. Both the teams have played six World Cup matches so far since 1992 and India have won all the games with a head-to-head count of 6-0.
Rishabh Pant will be in India’s World Cup squad as a cover for Shikhar Dhawan as Dhawan’s progress will be monitored for three weeks while being with the team in England.
