MS Dhoni and team India are sweating it out in the nets before their first World Cup clash against South Africa on June 5. MS Dhoni was seen practicing in the nets in Southampton with KL Rahul also batting in the other net.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to its official Twitter handle to share the video of him hitting the ball out of the park. The BCCI wrote, “@msdhoni hitting them out of the park, nice and easy #TeamIndia #CWC19.”

MS Dhoni hit a fantastic century in a warm-up match against Bangladesh, though the match was not official it was Dhoni’s 11th ODI century and first out of India. MS Dhoni along with KL Rahul notched up a good partnership. MS Dhoni will be a vital member of the team as asserted by coach Ravi Shastri and skipper Virat Kohli before leaving for World Cup.
India will start their World Cup campaign against South Africa tomorrow, will then Australia and New Zealand before meeting their arch-rival Pakistan on June 16. India will have an upper hand against the Proteas as they have already lost their first to matches against England and Bangladesh.
