Kings XI Punjab skipper Ravichandran Ashwin got angry with KL Rahul after he misfielded and the ball went for a boundary. KL Rahul is one of the best fielder in modern day cricket and it is not expected of him to miss a ball like this. Rahul is usually the most effective fielder for his side and the mistake was not easy to digest for Rahul himself.
The incident took place in the 11th over when Murugan Ashwin was bowling to Faf du Plessis and he played a shot towards deep mid-wicket. KL Rahul came infront of the ball and it was looking that he will easily stop but for everyone’s surprise it went through his legs. Ashwin was not happy at all as he looked furious. While Faf du Plessis had a laugh because even he wasn’t expecting it.
In the second innings, KL Rahul scored the third fastest half-century of Indian Premier League 2019 as he took just 19 balls to score his fifty. Hardik Pandya is on top of the list as he scored his fifty off just 17 balls followed by Rishabh Pant, who scored it in 18 balls.
KL Rahul calmed down his skipper as he went on to score 71 off just 36 balls which included 7 boundaries and 5 maximums.
