Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, who has been awarded with the distinguished Arjuna Award, has pledged that he will give his best whenever he enters the cricket field to feature for India and try to win for the team.
“First of all, I would like to thank the Government of India for conferring me with the Arjuna Award. I would also like to congratulate all the winners of the Award. They’ve performed brilliantly in their fields,” said Jadeja in a video message posted on the official BCCI Twitter handle.
“I will always try to put my best foot forward whenever I play for India, will always try to win matches for the team and make the country proud,” he added.
Ravindra Jadeja, was not available for the Award function that happened on Thursday at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, as he in the West Indies where the men in blue are presently playing a Test series.

Jadeja, currently is at number four spot in the ICC ranking for the Test all-rounders. He slammed fifty and took two wickets in India’s 318 runs win against the Caribbean side and in the World Cup 2019, he almost took India to the final with a brilliant 79 runs of just 59 deliveries against the Kiwis.
The all rounder joined the elite list alongside Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Virat Kohli who have been awarded with the Arjuna Award.
