Earlier, Al-Amin Hossain gave Bangladesh an untimely headway with the wicket of in-form Mayank Agarwal in the fifth over.
Ishant Sharma went on to become the first Indian to pick up a five wicket haul in pink ball cricket to help the hosts bundle out Bangladesh for just 106 in 30.3 overs.
Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Shami shared five wickets among them in India’s first ever day-night Test cricket. Opener Shadman Islam was the highest run getter for the visitors with 29 runs.
