Chasing a mammoth target of 208, India lost the wicket of Rohit Sharma early. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul add a 100 runs partnership for the second wicket. The Windies then retaliated by dismissing KL Rahul (62), after which youngster Rishabh Pant was involved in a 48-run third wicket stand with the Indian skipper.
Even though Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer were dissmissed in quick successions, Virat Kohli did not lose his focus and led the run chase. In the end, Kohli sailed the Indian side past the finishing line with six balls to spare. He remained not-out on a 50-ball 94 runs at a strike rate of 188, which included six fours and as much maximums.
