The Indian women’s cricket team proved that they are not less than anyone and can also bring the cup for the country. Recently, our women’s cricket team has defeated Ireland on Thursday in the ICC Women’s WT20 and make their entry to the semi-finals now.
After this amazing victory for the country, the Indian men’s cricket team are praising the women’s team, especially, team skipper Virat Kohli has motivated them and joined the chorus to praise the girls.
He even started a campaign on social media in support for the women’s cricket team and also asked other sportspeople to support the campaign.
Kohli has posted a video on his Twitter account and nominated the likes of Rishabh Pant, Saina Nehwal and Sunil Chhetri to the take the support.
In the video message, Kohli can be seen wearing Indian jersey. He wrote, ‘ We’re on our way to the semi-finals.. and it’s time to back Team India to bring home the World Cup! #JerseyKnowsNoGender’
He also said that ‘I nominate @RishabPant777, @NSaina, @chetrisunil11 and all of you to join in. Wear your jerseys and strike the pose to cheer them on!’
