Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant named in Delhi's star-studded line-up for Vijay Hazare Trophy

Indian skipper Virat Kohli who is currently busy captaining his side against West Indies in the Caribbean is named in Delhi’s star-studded line-up for Vijay Hazare Trophy. Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA) announced the list of probables for the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy.

The list includes some of the star player of Indian cricket including Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma, Nitish Rana, Navdeep Sain, Pawan Negi, Pradeep Sangwan, Dhruv Shorey, Himmat Singh, etc.

Delhi has won the coveted trophy three times since it was constituted in 2003. Delhi is one of the best sides in the domestic circuit. After the retirement of former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir, the captaincy has changed hands several times. Nitish Rana is the current first-class captain of Delhi and Ishant Sharma is limited-overs captain.

Vijay Hazare Trophy is named after former Indian cricketer Vijay Hazare. Tamil Nadu is the most successful team as they won the title 5 times, while current champions Mumbai have won it three times. It will be interesting to see if Delhi can win the title for the fourth time with such a star-studded line-up.
