Currently, Team India skipper Virat Kohli is on the top position in both the rankings (Test and ODI). Well, it is difficult to reach Virat Kohli's top spot in ODI ranking but it looks like that Virat might soon lose the first spot in Test ranking and the reason is New Zealand skipper-batsman Kane Willaimson.
Kane Williamson hit not out 200 runs in Hamilton test played against Bangladesh, in which he got 18 points benefit in the rankings. Currently, Kane Williamson in on 2nd position with 915 points in the Test ranking and he is just 7 points behind top position batsman Virat Kohli who have 922 points in the list. Williamson has to play two Test matches against Bangladesh and he has a chance to go further Virat Kohli. Whether on the other hand, Virat Kohli won't be playing any Test match for the next five months.
