Earlier, Indian skipper Virat Kohli took to his official twitter handle to commend Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan after he was endow with the highly regarded Dadasaheb Phalki Award. By means of his earnest message, the 31-year-old congratulated Amitabh Bachchan for being presented with the honoured award. Eulogising Big B’s huge contribution to the movie industry, Kohli thanked him for being an inspiration to many people for so long.

Amitabh Bachchan was without any opposition picked for this year’s Dadasaheb Phalke Award in September. He was handed the award by President Ram Nath Kovind in a ceremony which took place at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday.
The 77-year-old himself is a big fan of the Indian skipper, Earlier, the legendary actor took to his official twitter handle to praise Kholi’s masterful innings against the West Indies.
Putting together a masterclass, The Indian skipper knocked an unbeaten 94 off just 50 deliveries, which helped the men in blue chase down the target of 208 runs set by the Caribbean side.
During the formidable innings, Kohli had mocked Kesrick Williams by emulating his ‘notebook’ celebration after smashing him for a maximum.
Following the match, Amitabh Bachchan celebrated Kohli’s masterclass by recreating his famous dialogue from the movie ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’
Then also, the Indian skipper had thanked the actor for his post, saying the actor was always an inspiration.
Virat Kohli will be back in action ahead of the T20I series against Sri Lanka, slated to take place on 5th January.
