Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Virat Kohli could break hat-tricks of record in today’s Indian Premier League match against Chennai Super Kings. Kohli could become the leading run-scorer in the Indian Premier League in Chennai today. Currently, Suresh Raina tops the chart with 4,985 runs from 176 matches. Virat Kohli has 4,948 runs from 163 matches and needs just 38 more runs to overtake Raina.
Kohli could also surpass David Warner to record the most 50-plus scores in the Indian Premier League. Warner has gone past 50 runs 39 times, while Kohli has done it 38 times. Virat Kohli needs one more half-century to equal David Warner’s record.
Virat Kohli could also become the first player to cross 5,000 run mark in the Indian Premier League. Chennai Super Kings’ Suresh Raina will be competing with the RCB skipper closely as Raina is just 15 runs away from achieving the feat. Kohli needs 52 runs to reach the milestone and his fans would expect him to do it in today’s match.
