Indian skipper Virat Kohli leaves Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar behind to become the richest sportsperson in India.
Forbes India recently announced the richest celebrity from India in which Salman Khan tops the list with a net income of 253 crores followed by Virat Kohli with net income of 228 crore.
MS Dhoni is fifth on the list with an average income of 101 crores while the Indian great Sachin Tendulkar is at 9th position with net income of 80 crores.
The first Test match between India and Australia will be palyed from Tomorrow in Adelaide. Virat Kohli and Tim Paine are leading their respective sides.
India and Australia will also play a three-match ODI series starting from January 12 next year in Sydney, Australia. The final match of the series will be played at Melbourne Cricket Ground on January 18.
Earlier this month, India and Australia played a T20I series that was levelled at 1-1. Australia won the first match of the series by 4 runs (DLS method), second match was abondoned due to rain and India won the third match by six wickets, where Virat Kohli played a match winning strike and made 61 runs of 41 balls.
