Indian pacer Mohammed Shami was given the Man of the Match award after his three-wicket haul in the third match against New Zealand. During the post-match interview with Simon Doull Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Mohammed Shami shared a light hearted moment together.
When Doull asked a question to Shami about how difficult was it to bowl in the windy condition, Shami answered him back in English, to which Doull replied, “Your English is bohut acha.” Kohli and Shami couldn’t hold on to their laughter after hearing Doull’s Hindi.

Shami picked up a key wicket of Ross Taylor who scored 93 runs before he was sent back by India’s premier pacer. Apart from Taylor, Shami also took Colin Munro and Ish Sodhi’s wicket.
This was the last ODI for Indian captain Virat Kohli as he has been rested for the rest of the matches. Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian team in absence of Kohli.
The next match will be played at Seddon Park, Hamilton on January 31. Subhman Gill might be inducted in the playing XI as Indian skipper Virat Kohli was all praise about him.
