Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli is known for his animated celebrations. During the Indian Premier League match between RCB and Kings XI Punjab both Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin were involved in an abusive send-off.
Ravichandran Ashwin started it in the first innings when Virat Kohli was dismissed by Mohammed Shami. But Virat being Virat, he was waiting for his moment and when it arrived he didn’t back off. Kohli also gave Ashwin an abusive send-off when the latter was dismissed by Umesh Yadav and caught by the captain at long-on point.

In the post-match press conference Ashwin cleared everything and said that both Virat and I reacted out of passion. There is nothing between us as we are playing passionately for our respective sides and emotions are part of it.
Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Kings XI Punjab by 17 runs to win their third consecutive IPL match. AB de Villiers’ 44-ball 82 run knock and Marcus Stoinis’ 46 runs came in handy as Punjab failed to chase down the target of 202 runs.
Navdeep Saini did a fantastic job with the ball for Bangalore as he took 2 wickets from 4 overs. KL Rahul and Nicholas Pooran played an important part in the chase but Punjab couldn’t finish the game after they were dismissed.
Royal Challengers Bangalore is now sitting at number seven on the points table with 8 points to their name. This is the first time in IPL 2019 that they jumped up a spot from number eight. Kings XI Punjab is sitting at number five at the points table with 10 points to their name.
