Mahendra Singh Dhoni is often regarded as ‘captain cool’ for his calm nature on and off the field. But yesterday it was one of those days when even Dhoni couldn’t keep his cool. Dhoni lost it and got so angry that he went on field to argue with umpires for his team.

It all happened in the last over of second innings after MS Dhoni was dismissed by Ben Stokes by a fantastic yorker. Mitchell Santner came in to bat and finish the game, Chennai Super Kings needed 11 runs to win. Stokes bowled a slower full toss which appeared to be above the waist and umpire signalled it as no-ball but later withdrew and said he never gave a no-ball.
Then all hell broke loose, with Dhoni losing his cool and storming onto the the ground to argue with umpires. Dhoni was not happy with the decision and he made sure that everyone should know it, from umpires to bowler and skipper Ajinkya Rahane he argued with everyone. But after all that the decision of umpires didn’t change and the it was not given a no-ball.
The incident did not bruise Santner as he struck the next ball for two runs. Stokes and Rajasthan Royals were under pressure as the next delivery was a wide, CSK now needed 4 runs to win and the very next delivery was struck for a six by Santner. Chennai Super Kings beat Rajasthan Royals by 4 wickets and MS Dhoni won his 100th match as a captain, no other skipper has done that in past.
