Former Indian pacer Venkatesh Prasad's wicket of Amir Sohail in the World Cup 1996 is till now talked about by fans across India. It was a resurgence story where a bowler after being smashed for a four, comes for payback and dismiss the batsman. The episode has been played in loop by cricketing fans for many years. It is like that moment which people never fail to recall.
Amir Sohail was batting on 51 runs, when he hit a cover drive off Venkatesh Prasad. As the ball sailed to the boundary line. Sohail then pointed his fingers at Prasad and then towards the ball, almost teasing the Indian pacer to go and fetch the ball. What happened next is remembered as one of the greatest comebacks of all time with Prasad dismissing Sohail and giving him a blazing send-off.
Sharing a collage of his famous dismissal of Amir Sohail in the 1996 World Cup, where Prasad sent his off-stump flew after getting smashed for a four, the pacer wrote: "Me to Aamir Sohail in Bangalore at 14.5 - #IndiraNagarkaGunda hoon main," the 14.5 citing the 15th over of Pakistan's innings.
This gave rise to a response from a Pakistani journalist, who said that it was Venkatesh Prasad's only accomplishment in his cricketing career.
However the former India pacer was quick to shut down the journalist as he replied in the most epic way.

Nahi Najeeb Bhai. Had reserved some achievements for later. In the very next World cup in Eng in 1999 , took 5/27 at Manchester against Pakistan and they were unable to chase 228. God bless you.
