Indian skipper Virat Kohli wished the India Under-19 cricket team good luck ahead of its ICC U-19 World Cup final encounter against Bangladesh at Senwes Park on Sunday. The boys in blue enter the final with their eyes firmly set on the trophy.
Priyam Garg led team India has a perfect record in the tournament thus far, having beaten Australia and Pakistan in the knockout stages to get to the final. Citing India’s brilliant form, the Indian skipper tweeted, Sending my best wishes to the Indian U19 Cricket Team ahead of their World Cup final. The nation is behind you, bring it home boys.

Meanwhile, India’s batting legend Sachin Tendulkar and KL Rahul also sent their wishes to the U-19 team.

The Indian team have won the Under-19 World Cup for a record four times, including the last one in 2018, and will be looking to continue their dominance when they face Bangladesh.
For the Bangladesh side it will be a significant event, playing in their first ever U-19 World Cup final. The knocked out the hosts South Africa in the quarter-finals and won New Zealand in the semis.
