Indian cricketer Sanju Samson knocked an unbeaten 212 runs for Kerala against Goa and smashed a series of records in the ongoing Vijay Hazare trophy on Saturday.
The wicket keeper batsman displayed his class as he smashed 21 fours and 10 sixes, at a strike rate of 164.34.

His knock of 212 runs also went on to become the fastest double century in the history of list A cricket and the highest score in a Vijay Hazare trophy fixture. Samson also became the sixth Indian to knock a double ton in a 50 over format after Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar and Karn Kaushal.
Former cricketer turned politician Gautam Gambhir and Shashi Tharoor were among those who commended the youngster on social media and also called on the Indian selection committee to ive him an opportunity.
