Former Indian cricketer Ajit Agarkar, who is the quickest fast bowler to reach 50 ODI wickets also slammed the fastest ODI fifty for India off just 21 deliveries. Agarkar achieved this feat against Zimbabwe on December 14, 2000, he surpassed Kapil Dev, who have scored fifty off 22 balls against West Indies on March 29, 1983.
Agarkar played 191 ODIs for India scoring 1269 runs at an average of 14.58 and took 288 wickets at an average of 27.85. Agarkar also played 26 Tests for India in which he took 58 wickets at an average of 37.32. Ajit was the captain of Mumbai in Ranji Trophy and led the team to its 40th title in 2013.
