The Former Australian Captain Steve Smith turns 49 on Saturday. Steve Smith is the number one ranked Test batsman in the world and in 2017 earned the rating of 947, only surpassed by the great Sir Don Bradman.
On 13 July, 2010 he made his debut against Pakistan at Lord's.Steve Smith is world class batsman and his maiden century against India guided Australia to seal the spot in Cricket World Cup 2015 Final.

Currently, he is serving the ban for 12 months by Cricket Australia after he was found guilty of ball-tampering in South Africa.
According to a report in cricket.com.au, Cricket Australia has allowed Smith to take part in the T20 competition and he will be donating his earnings to grassroots cricket.
In 108 games he scored 3431 runs with an average of 41.84 in ODI's while in Test he scored 6199 runs from 64 games with an average of 61.38. In limited over format he scored 431 runs from 30 games with an average of 21.55.
