The 'run machine' of India Virat Kohli and Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan recently came together for the shooting of a chat show. In the chat-show, both the cricketer and the actor were seen getting candid about their personal lives.

In the chat show, the skipper opened up about his relationship with the Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma. Kohli also talked with Aamir Khan about his fear of facing Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga in 2011 Cricket World Cup final at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

In 2011 World cup, Indian cricket team’s batting line-up included legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, MS Dhoni and in-form Yuvraj Singh. That's why the current Indian captain was not given much thought.

However, after the explosive Indian opener, Virendra Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar were sent back to the pavilion, it was Virat Kohli who took the charge of India’s faltering chase. Even Virat was sent back at the score of 35. But Virat's partnership with Gautam was considered crucial for the Indian team.

In the chat-show with Aamir Khan, the viewers will witness Virat giving insight about his state of mind when he walked out to bat in the WC finale, the major concern that Virat had in his mind was facing Lasith Malinga’s yorkers.

“Mujhe darr lag raha tha Malinga yorker nahi daale (I was afraid of facing Lasith Malinga’s yorker). Already I was nervous! But after 2-3 balls, I settled down,” the 28-year-old cricket told Aamir.
