The whole Indian fans got disappointed when they heard that last match's star player Shikhar Dhawan has been injured and he may be ruled out of world cup. It was announced that he will be out of world cup for the next three weeks and some other player can take his place. Now after so much speulations finally, Shikhar Dhawan has made a post on social media that clearly shows his intentions.

Shikhar Dhawan posted a Shayari written by the famous poet and writer Dr Rahat Indori. Dhawan tweeted, "Kabhi mehek ki tarah hum gulon se udte hain... Kabhi dhuyein ki tarah hum parbaton se udte hain... Ye kainchiyaan humein udne se khaak rokengi... Ke hum paron se nahin hoslon se udte hain,"

According to BCCI, Shikhar Dhawan has been kept under observations and physio Patrick Farhart will be working overtime to make sure that Dhawan makes a comeback as soon as possible. It is known that team India needs Dhawan and his injury can also trouble the combination of team India to win the world cup.

Rishabh Pant will be joining team India as the cover for Dhawan in England and Wales but they have not made any official request for a replacement to ICC. However, with that, it is now confirmed that Dhawan will not play the next match of India in the World Cup against New Zealand. Team India is playing group stage matches to qualify for semi-finals.
