The war of words broke down on social media between the two former superstars of international cricket. Former Indian cricketer and World Cup-winning player Gautam Gambhir attacked Shahid Afridi on twitter after the Pakistani cricketer commented on the Kashmir issue.

The former Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi asked his countrymen to come and participate in a protest held against the abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir by the Indian government. Afridi also said that he would soon be visiting the Line of Control (LOC) which did not go down well with Gambhir.

Gambhir in response tweeted that Shahid Afridi has refused to mature and would order online kindergarten tutorial for him. Shahid Afridi replied with a passage from Paddy Upton’s book where the latter has mentioned Gambhir is weak and mentally insecure.

“Guys, in this picture Shahid Afridi is asking Shahid Afridi that what should Shahid Afridi do next to embarrass Shahid Afridi so that’s it’s proven beyond all doubts that Shahid Afridi has refused to mature!!! Am ordering online kindergarten tutorials for help @SafridiOfficial,” Gambhir tweeted.

“Change of weather in Karachi, rain in the air 🙂 Also each time Gautam tries to make himself relevant, I am reminded of this..” Afridi replied.

Gautam Gambhir is currently an MP from East Delhi constituency, he won the election in May this year after joining the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in March.
