Rumours of MS Dhoni retiring from international cricket started surfacing online after Indian skipper Virat Kohli posted a picture with the former Indian captain. It was being said that MS Dhoni will announce his retirement and will address a press conference at 7 pm today.
Sakshi Dhoni, wife of MS Dhoni has cleared the speculations as she took to her official twitter handle and wrote, “Its called rumours!.” Chief Selector M S K Prasad also denied all the rumours saying that there is no update on Dhoni's retirement.

After the World Cup 2019, MS Dhoni kept himself away from international cricket. Dhoni took a two-month break from cricket to serve in the Indian Army. Dhoni is an honorary lieutenant colonel in the Indian Army’s parachute regiment.
Dhoni has not kept himself available for the upcoming series against South Africa that India will play from September 15. Virat Kohli led team India will play a T20I and Test series against South Africa.
