Indian team lost the wickets in quick succession when 17-year-old Sachin Tendulkar came out in the middle. From there on, he went on to struck 17 boundaries to score his maiden century. He scored 117 runs and became the third youngest player to score a Test ton, at 17 years, 112 days old.
On the other hand Sir Don Bradman played his last innings of his career at Oval on 14 August 1948. He was gone for duck in his last innings with the batting average of 99.94.
